Welcome to Ms. Miceli's Third Grade Classroom

Hi! You made it!  I created this webpage to help strengthen our home-school connection and provide a spot where both students and parents can feel comfortable to take learning to new heights. This site is very user friendly (for those of you who may not have too much experience with technology) and is "our "classroom away from home" sort of speak.  Listed above are several blue links that will help navigate you to where you want to go and will further provide you with information about the third grade content & framework.  The resource link includes a variety of game-based activities to help reinforce essential skills and strategies.  As students grow more familiar with these practices they will become more confident in their overall learning abilities.  *Please note that the information in the links will be updated as we shift into new units and topics of study. My goal is to have all my students experience success and grow passionate about learning.  I want students to explore their interests, share their knowledge and most important ask questions and take risks!  Each month, as most families already know, a Star Student is selected.  In our room, the class votes anonymously and the student with the most votes is chosen to represent our class and school as a Global Star Citizen.  A Star Student is a student that shows Internal Mindedness and follows ALL SCHOOL-WIDE EXPECTATIONS-without exception.  So remember those Profiles and Attitudes because the next star could be you!
